    Very popular, has great food, ambience, friendly staff. I believe ir has fantastic live music on weekends. Has a huge veranda filled with all types of people from locals who seem to be characters, travellers, backpackers. Great for people watching too. I heard it is the best pub in the world, now that may be just another story, so you'll just have to find out yourselves. Cheers!!

    Was there for Blues Festival, great that it was free admission, buffet food was not good, entertainment until 8 pm was good, after that was not, couldn't stand it any longer & left. Hoping tomorrow night will be better. Made enquiries about the shuttle bus, hope that runs locally around Humpty Doo, not just to Palmerston. Otherwise might not be able to attend?

    Great place to stop off and have a couple of cold beers. Friendly staff with good food reasonably priced for a pub.

    Atmosphere was terrible, no staff available. Ended up leaving as no one to take order. High chair was dirty.
